 ISO 22001 is a Food Safety Management System or Standard. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certification and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) are two examples of current food safety systems that can be integrated with ISO 22000, a food safety management system, or applied separately to other management systems.
